Still in progress, Fade Grotesk is a typeface built entirely from dots, exploring how much a letterform can fade while still being recognizable. Each version gradually erodes its structure, from Fade 1’s dense clarity to Fade 8’s near-total abstraction.
Paradoxically, this tactile, analog-feeling type was created through AI-driven digital processes. It’s a study in perception and disappearance—an intentionally artificial homage to things that fade in the real world.
